In its fourth year and running from June 6th to June 9th, this festival has proved to be wildly popular, drawing in everyone from A-list celebrities to jurors who have served on the film festival circuit. This year’s theme, ‘A Wide Lens on Life’, shows the diversity and complexity of the human experience, encompassed in films such as Every Nine Hours and Lucy in The Sky. Cinema Uncorked Opening Night Bash
Enjoy wines and wonders underneath the treetops at the Riverside Theatre as we welcome in the fourth annual Vero Beach Wine and Film Festival! Featuring filmmakers from across the globe, attendees will enjoy visits by guest stars and the excitement that comes with presenting the Jury Awards to honorees. That’s not to mention all the wines that will be served there, as well! This is opening night.
Films
Following the event’s theme, the films that are being shown at the festival show the wide range of experiences that people go through and range from short films to longer documentaries. One of these films is Life·Love·Dogs. Sponsored by donors on Kickstarter, this film explores how human and animal lives intertwine, with each improving each other for the better. A short film entry, Lucy in the Sky, details the experiences of a young Autistic girl. Another film in the festival, Bennett’s Song, describes the laughs and tears that two families experience when their patriarchs marry. With screenings happening at some of the best restaurants, museums, and breweries in the area, and jury selection being performed by those who have judged at major film festivals from all over the world, you’re in for a night to remember.
WOW! Tasting Pavilion
We could not mention the Vero Beach Wine and Film Festival without mentioning some of the wines that will be served. Guests of the festival will see some specialty brands such as Treasury Wine Estates, 4 Winds, and Italics. They get their own place to shine at the WOW! Tasting Pavilion. This is where guests can see some of the wines featured throughout the festival on display, enjoy a tasting at a wine seminar, and view culinary demonstrations.
All in all, the Vero Beach Wine and Film Festival is a celebration of the human experience, conducted by offering some of the best things that can be found in this life.
