Kayak Launch on the Indian River Lagoon

Kayak Cove, Orchid Island’s private kayak launch, provides direct access to the saltwater estuaries of the Indian River Lagoon. Recognized as the most biologically diverse waterway in North America, Members cherish kayaking and paddleboarding through the river’s freshwater marshes, pine flatwoods, and hardwood hammocks. Manatees, pelicans, tricolored herons, snowy egrets, and more all congregate throughout the mangroves to provide a beautiful sightseeing adventure.
