Directions to Vero Beach and how to get to Orchid Island

No matter how you get here, directions to Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club are easy.

FLYING

Three commercial airports serve the Vero Beach area. The Orlando International Airport is about 90 miles from Vero Beach. Palm Beach International Airport is 70 miles away, and the smaller Orlando Melbourne International Airport is only 35 miles away. All three have major car rental agencies available. Vero Beach has its own municipal airport, with Elite Airways offering limited service.

TRAVELING SOUTH

Take Interstate 95 south to Exit 156 (Fellsmere Exit/Route 512, formerly Exit 69). Turn left (east) at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 512. Proceed east on Route 512 for 6¾ miles to Route 1. Turn right (south) on Route 1 and proceed approximately 4½ miles to the intersection of Route 1 and Route 510 (Wabasso Bridge Road). Turn left (east) onto Route 510. Continue east on Route 510 for 2½ miles (over the bridge) to Highway A1A. Turn left (north) on Highway A1A. Go approximately 1 mile and turn right (east) into Orchid Island’s Beach Club entrance.

TRAVELING NORTH

Take Interstate 95 north to Exit 147 (Vero Beach/Route 60, formerly Exit 68). Turn right (east) at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 60. Proceed east on Route 60 for approximately 10½ miles through Vero Beach to Indian River Blvd. Turn left (north) onto Indian River Blvd. Travel approximately 2 miles, turn right onto East-Rt. 60 and go over the Barber Bridge (Intracoastal Waterway) to Highway A1A. Turn left (north) on Highway A1A and proceed approximately 8 miles. Go approximately 1 mile and turn right (east) into Orchid Island’s Beach Club entrance.
