Expanded oceanfront dining, a new spa and Beach Suites will further enhance the Member experience at the private Vero Beach community.
Orchid Island is preparing to welcome Members to a newly enhanced Beach Club, with the first phase of its $8.2 million renovation scheduled to open this December. The project represents another significant investment in the Club’s oceanfront amenities, with additional improvements anticipated in spring 2027.
The renovation includes a substantial expansion of the Seaside Lounge, increasing the space from 1,500 to 3,900 square feet. Designed to complement the adjoining Beach Club Dining Room, the expanded lounge will feature five large windows offering sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, creating an inviting setting for Members to gather, dine and enjoy the oceanfront surroundings.
Scheduled to open in spring 2027, the new 4,100-square-foot beachfront spa will introduce an expanded wellness experience. Amenities will include four treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations, a hair salon, men’s and women’s locker rooms with steam and sauna facilities, and a dedicated relaxation area. Two new Beach Suites will also be introduced as part of the renovation.
The project also includes newly completed offices for Orchid Island Realty, the community’s on-site, Member-owned real estate agency, providing an enhanced setting for serving prospective buyers, Members and homeowners.
Peacock & Lewis Architecture, Master Planning and Design of North Palm Beach is overseeing the project’s design. Interior designer Jeannine Rohtla is responsible for the spa interiors, while Natalie Holtom is leading the interior design of the Seaside Lounge and Beach Suites.

The Beach Club renovation builds upon a series of recent Club enhancements, including a $5 million Golf Club renovation, the addition of the Pelican Pavilion and expanded racquet and recreational amenities, and the renovation of the Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf course.
