Summer Updates Just Completed
Orchid Island also prides itself on undertaking revitalization projects that preserve the course’s distinctive character while elevating its playability. This past summer, the course underwent a comprehensive enhancement project with this very goal in mind. A pivotal element of these updates is the introduction of new Bermuda grass greens, which promise a more consistent and smoother surface for an enjoyable putting experience. Additionally, several bunkers have been redesigned to guarantee optimal sand conditions, providing both strategic challenges and improved playability. The newly revitalized course will reopen for Members during Welcome Back Weekend in November.
